Prairie Winds

I live in northern Utah which is in the heart of the rocky mountains.  Utah is very diverse, and much of it is high prairie and desert.  Many of the antelope paintings I create come from my time spent on Antelope island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake.  Most people wouldn't think that there would be much in the way of wildlife on an Island surrounded by a sea of salt -  but the wildlife there abounds.  What with huge herds of buffalo and antelope, even giant mule deer and big horn sheep caress its’ slopes.   It is an oasis, and an amazing desert ecosystem.
